A little information about the creator of keen bean candles...
Melanie (that's me) is primarily a wife and mother to two adorable girls (ask anyone!). That should be enough to keep me busy (it is!), but I am always looking for another outlet for my creative frustration. A couple of years ago, I was introduced to Soy Candles, and the fun began.
The best part about this is that every candle is poured one at a time, which means they won't always be PERFECT, but they will always be made with the utmost of CARE and attention to QUALITY. Soy candles, by nature, will have slight imperfections in their appearance...it's part of the beauty of the wax. Just as we all have slight imperfections...it's part of the beauty that makes us who we are! Remember, what you might see on the outside in no way affects the quality of what's on the inside!
keen bean candles are made exclusively with wax that is 100% soy. The wicks are lead & zinc free. There are no dyes in keen bean candles, either. Some candles may appear to have a tint of color; that will be from the fragrance oil only. We do use fragrance oils that have synthetic ingredients in them, which is why we do not label our candles, "100% Natural."
